I suspect that whether or not they were actually enforceable would depend on what the changes were, and how much they differed from the "spirit" of whatever the ToU were when the registrant originally signed up. i.e. would the changes be considered "reasonable" by a disinterested third party.
However, I really don't care enough about entering an organised running event to spend any more time seriously thinking about what changes they might hypothetically make, and which changes I might or might not be OK with, and setting up some way of notifying myself when changes are made, and figuring out what the changes are.
I did think it might be worth pointing out the awfulness of the ToU for others to find though. Hence this post.
But, no, I didn't "enter" the RSR. However, I might meet some other people who have entered shortly after the start, and follow the RSR route with them on the day; it is held on public paths after all.
